Our team specializes in green roof designs which allow for stormwater to infiltrate and be absorbed by plants instead of washing pollutants from hardscapes into the sewer systems. The infiltration reduces the amount of runoff that occurs during and after a storm and allows for the stormwater to be naturally filtered. Best Management Practices
TerraSite Design specializes in using Best Management Practices (BMPs) in residential, state, and federal projects. The team has designed storm water detention ponds and utilized vegetation to promote infiltration and absorption of stormwater rather than generating concentrated flows that can cause soil erosion. BMPs also significantly reduce the runoff of pollutants to storm water systems.
